COVID-19: the lab in lockdown

Early in March, with news coverage of COVID-19 spread increasing daily and cases on the rise, we raced to finish experiments before the lab closed, and we moved to "working from home".

We've spent a lot of time on Zoom and MS Teams, and our Tameday.com communication and planning software became more useful than ever in keeping our team working productively.

We've had to rethink strategies, and learn new skills to make the most of our time at our desks (or kitchen tables/sofas), and taken the opportunity to catch up on all those papers we'd added to our "to-read" lists.

With questionable hair-dos and far too few steps daily, we've made the most of this shift in working, and produced some really cool data that we can't wait to get back into the lab to validate!
